By accessing or using MockSentry (available at www.mocksentry.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and the sole proprietor operating MockSentry ("MockSentry", "we", "us", or "our").

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use MockSentry. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use this platform.

MockSentry is an AI-powered mock interview preparation platform designed primarily for engineering students in India preparing for campus placements. The service includes: AI-driven mock interview sessions (DSA, HR, Technical, System Design); multi-dimensional AI evaluation of your answers; a persistent Weak Spot memory system that adapts to your history; company-specific and role-specific question sets; a resume-parsing feature that generates personalised questions; a daily AI-generated targeted session; email-based progress reports; and a Readiness Card for performance visualisation.

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All interview questions, evaluations, model solutions, feedback, and debrief narratives are generated by large language models (primarily Google Gemini). While we have designed our prompts carefully, AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. MockSentry does not guarantee that any evaluation, model solution, or feedback represents the definitive correct answer to any interview question. You should use AI feedback as one input among many in your preparation — not as the sole source of truth.

Registration

To access the platform, you must create an account using either Google OAuth or an email address and password. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account details up to date.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at anuragkr8651@gmail.com if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. MockSentry is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your credentials.

One Account Per Person

Each user may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent Free Tier limitations is a violation of these Terms and may result in the permanent suspension of all associated accounts.

Permitted Use

MockSentry is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only — specifically for individual interview preparation. You may use the platform to practise, learn, and track your progress.

Prohibited Activities

You must not: (a) share your account credentials with others; (b) scrape, copy, or redistribute questions, model solutions, or any content from MockSentry; (c) use automated scripts, bots, or tools to interact with the platform; (d) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or probe the AI evaluation system; (e) submit false, misleading, or harmful content as answers; (f) use the platform in any manner that could damage, disable, or overburden our infrastructure; (g) use MockSentry for commercial purposes, including coaching services or re-selling interview content.

Content You Submit

By submitting answers to interview questions, you grant MockSentry a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store and process that content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you (AI evaluation, RAG context, debrief generation). We do not share individual user answers publicly. We may use aggregated and anonymised patterns across all answers to improve our evaluation prompts.

Free Tier

MockSentry offers a Free Tier with limited features (currently 3 sessions per week, basic debrief). No credit card is required to access the Free Tier.

Pro Plan & Placement Pack

Paid plans (Pro at ₹199/month or ₹1,499/year; Placement Pack at ₹499 one-time) unlock unlimited sessions, full narrative debriefs, all company question packs, readiness card downloads, and weekly email reports. Pricing may change at any time; active subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price increase.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Razorpay. By providing payment details, you agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service. MockSentry does not store or have access to your full card details.

Subscription Renewal

Monthly and annual Pro plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Profile settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.

Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable. Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.

MockSentry Content

All content on the platform — including the question database, evaluation prompts, user interface, branding, logo, and codebase — is the intellectual property of MockSentry. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without explicit written permission.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the answers you submit. You grant MockSentry only the limited licence described in Section 4 to process that content for service delivery.

No Guarantee of Employment

MockSentry is a practice and preparation tool. We make no representation or warranty that using MockSentry will result in securing a job offer, passing any interview, or achieving any specific score. Interview outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

"As Is" Service

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MockSentry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to MockSentry in the 3 months preceding the claim.

By You

You may stop using the service at any time. To delete your account, email anuragkr8651@gmail.com with subject 'Account Deletion Request'.

By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms. In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be issued for any remaining subscription period.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. All your data will be deleted within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. For consumer disputes, you may also approach the relevant consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to your registered address and by displaying a notice on the platform. Continued use of MockSentry after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
